The Dr. Allan Hyde House is a brick Federal-style residence at 69-79 Maple Street in Ellington. It was built in 1805 and, along with the Charles Sexton House of 1812 at 70 Main Street, is an exception to the predominance of wood frame houses found in Ellington.
