The North Canton School building was built in 1872, near the North Canton Methodist Episcopal Church. It was used as a school from 1872 to 1942. Because its original location was right at a fork along Cherry Brook Road, the schoolhouse was moved in 1927 when the road was widened. It is now located on the church’s property.
