This video is about the Isle of Safety, which sheltered trolley (and later bus) passengers in Downtown Hartford, Connecticut from 1913 to 1976. It is now at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor, Connecticut.

Fascinating. I really enjoyed this video. It reminds me a little bit of the “Comfort Station” at Elizabeth Park originally designed by Russell Barker as a public restroom that was later repurposed and now serves as the visitors center. I love to see how some beautiful old structures are preserved and remembered.
