The thumbnail for my latest YouTube video compares a 1930s WPA photograph of an 18th-century saltbox house in Glastonbury (the Jehiel Goodrich House, 620 Main Street) with a contemporary photo. In the video I go through every house I can identify as built before 1800 (and a few after that date!) on Main Street in Glastonbury and show the WPA image for each if there is one. That’s nearly 70 surviving houses (and a few photos of now lost ones too).
