Built in 1813 for Aaron Bissell (1758-1831) is the Federal (or Adam) style house at 1891 Main Street in East Windsor Hill (now in South Windsor). A three-story ell was added to the house in 1904. Aaron Bissell owned Bissell ‘s Tavern, as well as a store and post office, and was involved in farming and merchant ventures. Next door, to the north, stands a similar house, built in 1812 for Bissell’s partner and son-in-law, Eli Haskell.

I found a brick from 1913 on the corner of Elliot & Ledyard Streets in Hartford, Ct. What building was standing there from 1913?
I don’t know what building was there, but you can do research on it. Look at the Hartford Atlas of 1917, which is at this site: http://www.historicmapworks.com/Atlas/US/6915/Hartford%20City%20and%20West%20Hartford%20Town%201917/
You can also try to find more information at the Hartford History Center at the Hartford Public Library and check property records through the city.
