Houses in many of the popular styles of the later nineteenth century were built on Allen Place in Hartford, which was laid out in 1869. The house at 125 Allen Place is an excellent example of the Gothic Revival style, featuring steeply pitched roofs and dormers, and decorated bargeboards.
Trinity College Chapel (1932)
The Chapel of Trinity College in Hartford was completed in 1932 and was designed by Philip H. Frohman in the Perpendicular Gothic style. Frohman was the architect of the Washington National Cathedral. There’s an art history thesis paper (pdf file) about the Chapel.
