Gamaliel King (1795-1875) was a New York City architect who designed four houses in Stonington, by the shores of Lambert’s Cove. The house of James Ingersoll Day was lost due to the Hurricane of 1938, but the other three survive. One is the Nathaniel B. Palmer House of 1852 and another is Cove Lawn, built in 1856 for Captain Theodore Dwight Palmer. The third is Linden Hall, also known as the Stanton House, built in 1857 to 1859 for brothers Joseph Warren Stanton and Charles Thompson Stanton.

    Hello,

My name is John Austin, I live and work in Warwick, RI. I work for a company called Vishay Electro-Films. We research, develop, and manufacture micro electronic components. I’ve been with them for 10 years now.

I’m contacting you today on behalf of an organization that I am founder and lead investigator for that researches, documents, and captures paranormal activity.

I’m curious if there is anyone that I could speak to that knows of or has had any unusual experiences at your location?

I have been investigating Inns, Mills, businesses, Armories, museums, newspaper companies, private residences, historical buildings, even my cities Town Hall, over the last 9 years.

Here are some of the places I’ve been….

“Warwick City Hall” (with TJ Delsanto, channel 12)
    “Lizzie Bordens” (2 times )
    “Wayside Longfellow’s Inn” (14 times )
    “General Stanton’s Inn”
    “Simmons Homestead Inn”
    “Pawtuxet Ranger’s”
“Slater Mill” (with Keith Johnson former core member of TAPS)
    “Sprague Mansion”
    “Smiths Castle”
    “Captain Grants”
    “Bristol Train Artillery Armory”
    “Westerly Train Artillery Armory”
    “Kent County Daily Times”
    “Warwick Museum”
    “Mill At Shady Lee”

    “USS SALEM” 2/12/11

    * We also sold out 2 weekends hosting the city of Warwick’s 1st time ghost tour of Warwick City Hall. Ww donated all proceeds to the WMOA (WARWICK Museum Of Art) October 2010. The money we donated is being used to help keep the museum open for local artists and other events to continue there.

    * We have also spoken at evens, festivals, setup demonstrations etc, to help educate people with this phenomena that does occur and that we have captured and documented.

Our name and work that we’ve done has been promoted in local media such as newspapers, radio, and television.

    * I’ve personally been asked by the associate producer from the television show “THE HAUNTED” if I would be willing to share my story of my experiences and the the extreme paranormal phenomena that I’ve been studying in my own home for the last 10 years.
I have experienced the most extreme forms of paranormal activity that I have some of the best knowledge and understanding then most people in this field.

The biggest question I am asked is..
“how can there be such a thing as ghosts if we can’t see them?”
(Well I have seen them, and so have many others.) But I always reply…”There are many laws of physics that take place that we can’t see with the naked eye that have been placed into theory and books by some of the brightest and most intelligent scientists in the world. And we cannot see these things take place.., so just because we can’t see things happen all the time, doesn’t mean that they don’t exist.”

We do “NOT” charge any money for our services.
We do encourage an individual from the location to take part in our investigation with us. It is a great learning experience and also for many people it is an extreme adrenaline rush.

    * We do use a lot of audio and video surveillance equipment during our investigations. We record all of our video surveillance cameras and audio into 1-3 DVR Systems.
We also use hand held devices and other equipment to locate where the activity may be.

After our investigation we will go over all the audio, video, and pictures that we obtain and put together a DVD for you of the investigation and any evidence we are able to capture and document.
Not only do we put together a DVD for you of our investigation, we also capture the beauty and history of the location that you will be able to share with others.

I like to setup a meet and greet with the organization or private owner/s and give a demonstration of our work that we have done and have permission to use.

    * We do not promote any findings without permission from the location.

Thank you for taking the time to read this long email.
And I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

    Sincerely,

    John Austin…
