The Arthur W. Burritt House is at 782 Clinton Avenue in Bridgeport. It is an example of a Dutch Colonial house. Arthur W. Burritt was Treasurer of the A. W. Burritt Lumber Company in Bridgeport (The A. W. Burritt House is at 385 Barnum Avenue).

My grandfather’s house and the house where my mother grew up. I remember her telling stories of leaning a ladder against the second story window so her brother could sneak out and hang with his friends. He was supposed to be in his room doing homework. When the neighbors field caught on fire my uncle was never suspected because his parents assured everyone he was upstairs the whole time.
Our company, Digital Media, LLC, purchased this building in 2015. We have made substantial improvements to the aesthetics and repairs to the original craftsmanship.
