    It is indeed the Alexander Ellsworth house. The sign to the right of the front door says “Alex’D Ellsworth”, because that’s how they abbreviated in colonial times.

    And yes, the home was just relisted on 7/10/2010.

    My aunt & uncle, Florence & Ray Zamulko used to own that house back in the 70’s…
    Ray renovated the kitchen but I remember he had to adhere to the towns historic commissions regulations for proper updates…
    I loved that house and its history… I loved the “Indian Shutters” that protected the windows from the inside and every room having its own fireplace….
